Saxons lock signs long term deal with Saracens FC

Aviva Premiership Rugby Football Union club Saracens FC has fended off competition from some of the biggest clubs in England and tied up England Saxons lock Maro Itoje to a new long term deal that sees the youngster commit his future to the club for the long haul.

The 20 year old led England to the Junior World Cup title and was also the leader of the club that won the LV=Cup this season. He has already amassed 24 caps for the London club at a young age, playing a vital role in the club’s run to the semi finals of the European Rugby Champions Cup and the Aviva Premiership and even made his debut for the England Saxons in January.

Itoje was visibly excited when he spoke about his new deal with the club, stating that it is a great club that has treated him with great care since he signed for them as a 14 year old novice. He added that Saracens FC is like a second home to him and he feels excited that he has been asked to sign on for a long stay at the club. Continue reading
